Pauline Deschodt

Pauline is the Research Coordinator on Team Shrub at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, where she supports Dr. Isla Myers-Smith and the research group in their research in Northern Canada.
Her role includes managing research fundings, helping coordinate research activities, coordinating field logistics and strengthening our partnerships with our northern collaborators and local communities.
Pauline has background in ecology and entomology. Her PhD and Postdoc research focused on host-natural enemy interactions, with an emphasis on particularly pathogens-pathogen. Broadly, she is interested in species interactions, infection dynamics, and how environmental conditions shape ecological outcomes.
